Blogging from work. Got a transcript just before that was due over two hours ago. I had to break the typing barrier and actually learn how to type backwards in time.
I was forced into using DragonDictate by necessity, but you guys should look into it if you need to transcribe lots of stuff at work... once you've got the training done for the computer program, all you need to do is talk to a microphone and everything comes up on screen. Voice recognition software was initially made for that kind of stuff anyway
If they found out a way to do it, they would. The voice recognition software would probably have a problem with radio static, different voices, and the large amount of technical terms that some of the interviewees come out with.
