There were tonnes of shops called 'Nails' in Manhattan. It seemed to me like aforementioned Nailpolishblues had extended her dominion from her spot in cyberspace and now had a monopoly on the 'Nails' market in New York. Stranger things have happened.

Eyebrow threading is really more my thing - fake nails are revolting :p
EYEBROW THREADING? That sounds like a BIZARRE combination of needles and stitching and the spot of skin just over the eyes. OUCH!
Or maybe just an alternative to tweezers...
