Imperial Measurement of the Week

Imperial Measurement of the Week is 3 3/4 acres.

It's a little more than three acres, and not quite 4 acres.

Please put your hands together for this humble, but important measurement. And remember: you can't get to 5 acres without it.

    Bugger the acre - what about the chain, or the furlong. I could never remember how many pints to a furlong and now thanks to metric I don't have to.

    Then I remember the cubit. I wonder if there was ever a cute cubit. Oh well, too much coffee again I fear.
