For no reason at all, a random kid just ran through my workplace shouting 'Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah!' in a repetitive and flat tone of voice.
What an intelligent child. Some day, if I stick with this job and work very hard, I might become like that.

In my workplace it's the adults who do that. Actually, that's not very true. Mostly we just have screaming matches with lab staff.
Only if you work your way up to being an executive or the CEO Timmy.
Otherwise, the occasional "whoop", sitting at your desk, is all you'll be permitted.
Caz, considering the options available to me, maybe the occasional desk-side 'whoop' isn't the worst thing that could happen to me...!
Actually Nails, back at my old South Melbourne place of employ (same job I now do, we just got bought out), our CEO used to enjoy regular shouty matches with the secretaries. Which is to say, he'd do the shouting, and they'd meekly listen.
And we transcribers, sitting right behind his office, got to hear every-last-word. Fun times.
It's all about the pecking order.
