O plastic tree! O plastic tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!
O plastic tree! O plastic tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!
They're green in summer, winter drear
Because they're made of polymer!
O plastic tree! O plastic tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!
O plastic tree! O plastic tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me!
O plastic tree! O plastic tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me!
Your bark is toxic styrofoam!
And marked 'keep out of reach of children in your home'!
O plastic tree! O plastic tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me!

I have a plastic tree, but I must say its leaves DO change, both day to day and year to year.
At night we turn it on at the power point so the tips of the plastic leaves get lit up. It's an electronic plastic tree.
And year after year we pack it away so the tree gets kind of crumpled and ... the leaves bent-like.
I'm not too strong on the lyrics for that, but I thought I'd clear up any plastic tree myths this Christmas.
My aunty used to have a plastic tree she'd drag out every Christmas. It was a testimony to the mystical, magical properties of trees plastic, though it wasn't so complimentary to trees.
