Had coffee with Mum this morning. She's going to Russia tomorrow, by train apparently. I didn't know they had a linking train service from Newcastle, Australia to Russia, but there you go - more power to the trans-Siberian-railway, or whoever runs these things nowadays.
So - any suggestions for Mum? Sights to see in Siberia? Delightful examples of triumphalist Soviet architecture? Leave a note in comments, and I'll be happy to pass it on to her.
