My advice - always buy it, never attempt to make it yourself. While a piece or two is quite delicious, half the mixture tends to make you feel really sick.
I feel that the philosophers of pleasure, from Epicurus to Montaigne to Sartre, have never fully taken into account the ramifications of fudge for their theories. It is an unfortunate historical oversight.

When you eat lots of it, and it induces plumptitude, you can fudge your figures.

I am dreaming of a very thin slice of fudge..(Sigh).
