WARNING: It's a very pretty picture up the top, but it doesn't leave much up to the imagination: I'll just say that a Taiwanese vet was very happy in hospital to be reunited with an old limb...
Got the story from Steve.

Ugh, this is why I fear and loathe crocodiles. Sick little mutants.
Possibly he viewed it as revenge for the crocodilian kind: my brother was up in the Northern Territory with my parents, and he and Dad sampled some croc burger while they were up there.
Dad told all about it in his letter, along with fascinating details about the geology of the Darwin area. The letter actually contains the phrase 'Saw a nice rock'. Though he rather comically deflates it later by talking about them taking a 'Tour of the old Goal'.
My sister told me about this story, so I know that I cannot possibly follow that link.
I'm very fond of old goals, like the new ones I don't do anything about them but it's nice that they exist[ed].
Crocodiles are really only good for killing and making into hamburgers and handbags. I refuse to believe that they serve any other decent purpose. Evolution fucked up.
